Refined, Bleached and Deodorized (RBD) Palm Olein is our key product for the export markets.

Palm oil is a natural food that has been consumed for more than 5000 years. It is derived from the fleshy mesocarp of the fruit of the oil palm (Elaeis guineensis).

RBD Palm Olein is obtained from fractionating RBD Palm Oil to separate liquid parts (olein) from solid parts (Stearin). RBD Palm Olein is a clear yellow liquid at room temperature with no contamination, e.g. oxidation. RBD Palm Olein is widely used as a frying oil for food industries, such as snack food manufacturing and fast food manufacturing. Much of its popularity is due to its good resistance to oxidation and formation of breakdown products at frying temperatures and longer shelf life of finished products. It is also used as raw materials for such other products like margarines and shortenings.

Palm oil is a good source of MUFA (monounsaturated fatty acid) and is rich in Vitamin E. It is stable and versatile even without hydrogenation. Hydrogenation process will form trans fatty acids, which may have an adverse effect on health.

Our main types of cooking oil for export are CP6, CP8, CP10 and crude palm oil. The specifications are detailed below:
